All of my pieces are created by firing them multiple amounts of time in the kiln. This allows me to add and build my work up in layers. Between each firing I integrate a variety of cold processes, such as cutting and shaping the piece, creating holes, applying enamels and lusters, etching, etc. After the work is done I will fire the glass at temperatures that vary from 1350 degress to 1450 degrees, depending on what I am wanting to acheive with each firing.
